Helicopter Capture and Transfer Systems

Safe Air Operations on Naval Platforms

The Helicopter Capture and Transfer System (RAST / “Kuşkapanı”) developed by Altınay Defense enables safe helicopter operations on naval vessels.

The system secures the helicopter to the deck within as little as 3 seconds after touchdown, ensuring operational safety even under challenging sea conditions. Capable of operating up to Sea State 5, the solution also enables the safe transfer of helicopters into the hangar.

With its modular architecture, the system can be integrated into naval vessels of various classes and tonnages, enabling navies to effectively deploy their air assets under diverse sea and weather conditions.

Precision Stabilization in Dynamic Maritime Conditions

The stabilized pedestal systems developed by Altınay Defense enable sensors, electro-optical systems, cameras, and laser designators to operate stably on naval platforms.

Our systems mitigate roll and vibration effects caused by ship maneuvers and wave motion. Through advanced motion control algorithms, the payload is isolated from platform movement, allowing:

JP-5 Aviation Refueling Systems

Safe and Continuous Fuel Transfer on Naval Platforms

Altınay Defense develops integrated aviation fueling systems for the safe management of NATO standard F-44 (JP-5) aviation fuel used on military vessels.

These systems provide a comprehensive infrastructure covering the entire process—from fuel supply to the ship, storage and filtration, to the safe transfer of fuel to helicopters. The solutions we develop provide critical capabilities such as:
